November 1, 2007 - The Reception

The reception was held in Epcot.
Originally there was supposed to be a pre-reception on Italy Isola, with cocktails and hors d' oeuvres served during Illuminations.
We couldn't do the cocktails and hors d' oeuvres because of tropical storm Noel, but everyone still got to see Illuminations.

After Illuminations everyone was supposed to move to the Courtyard in Italy, but instead we went inside the American Rotunda.

It was still beautiful. Mickey and Minnie showed up for the first dance. Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck showed up a little later.
Our first song was Oh Mickey. We did a swing dance to it.
That's my brother dancing with Minnie Mouse.

Our cake:
We had almond cake with milk chocolate mousse and chocolate cake with Baileys mousse.
The topper is a frog with a crown on his head. There is a bumblebee on the second layer. On the bottom, sitting in flowers, is Barnaby.

I love this photo. It was taken at 2:15 AM while we were waiting to leave.
The bride and her mother had partied a little too hard and were ready for bed.

Unfortunately for the bride, she didn't go to bed until 10 AM.
After the reception the bride and groom headed over to the Magic Kingdom for a special portrait session (I'll post pictures when I get them).
After the portrait session both families met for the character breakfast and to say goodbye.
This is my aunt and PJ's sister with their wedding party hats on at breakfast.

PJ and I stayed in the park for a few more days. Some special things we did:
Ate at the chef's table in Victoria & Alberts (amazing!)
Epcot's Food and Wine festival
Fantasmic in MGM
Watched some of the PGA tournament
