Will you ever have actual Morelli shirts or things in the store again?

The Tasty Pastry items are Morelli items.  The shirts have his name on the sleeve and the hats and totes have his name on the back.  We have plans for some new Morelli and Ranger stuff in 2010. -- Alex

My question concerns the Buick. If the car is a classic Buick eight of the fifties shouldn't the car have a straight eight engine not a v8?

Only the Buick Special still had a straight eight in 1953.  Buick introduced the V8 in their Super and Roadmaster series in 1953.  Uncle Sandor's car is a Roadmaster. -- Alex

In the "How I Write" book the question about what Janet's day looks like came up. She answers with what time she starts in the morning.  My question is:  What time (typically) does she go to bed at night?

Whether we go to bed or not, we are usually falling asleep by 9:30/10 PM. -- Alex

When I see the ads for KFC's grilled chicken, I wonder what Lula would do if Cluck in a Bucket went to grilled chicken.

And incur the wrath of Lula?  They wouldn't dare.  Of course, if it was smothered in BBQ sauce... -- Alex

I would LOVE to have a Rangeman nightgown!! Would you ever consider selling them?

No plans for nightgowns right now, but I'll make a note of the request on my store items list. -- Alex

Has Stephanie ever considered getting a hamster friend (or girlfriend) for Rex so that he isn't home alone when she is out bounty hunting?  Or would Rex not prefer the company?

Rex prefers living alone.  It allows him to spend time on his favorite pursuits -- rearranging wood chips in his soup can and sculpting pretzels with his teeth.  Of course, I'm sure he wouldn't say no to a date.  -- Alex

I love animals! I read that Janet  owns a retriever, who was the inspiration for Bob. Is the St Bernard on facebook also a family pet?

I'm afraid our golden retriever, named Sedito, is no longer with us.  The St. Bernard in the picture is Janet's granddog, Barnaby.  He is the inspiration for the dog in Motor Mouth.  Since that picture was taken, Janet has gotten an adorable Havanese named Ollie. -- Alex

I LOVE your Stephanie Plum books!  They're fun to read and hilarious!  But WHY are they so hard to find in Large Print?

One reason they are harder to find is that there are way fewer large print editions published than standard ones.  You can still find many of them available (both new and used) through the online book sales outlets. -- Alex

I never saw who won the vote on who should play Ranger. (my idea was "The Rock").  What happened?

There's an ongoing poll right now on the Facebook page for Janet.  Currently, Dwayne Johnson is way ahead of the other candidates. -- Alex

I was just wondering if Janet would be co-authoring any future books with Charlotte Hughes, Leanne Banks or other authors perhaps?

Both Charlotte and Leanne are off doing solo projects, but we might be announcing a new romance co-author very soon. -- Alex

Could you give us a hint of what Stephanie, Joe, Ranger and Grandma have on their Christmas lists?

Stephanie wants some easier FTAs from Vinnie.  Joe would love a new motorcycle helmet.  Ranger's easy to shop for -- anything in basic black.  Grandma Mazur is asking for a Miracle Bra. -- Alex

When is the paperback coming out for Finger Lickin Fifteen?

Paperbacks tend to come out about a year after the publication of the hard cover.  Look for Finger Lickin' Fifteen in paperback at about the same time as Book Sixteen in hard cover -- tentatively, June 22, 2010. -- Alex

I want a long sleeve plum crazy t-shirt, are you going to get more?

Yes.  Originally they were going to be a one time, holiday thing, but I'm placing a re-order today. -- Alex

How to I access your book signing dates?

We post them on the website about six weeks ahead of the tour.  Since Plum Sixteen is tentatively due out on June 22, 2010, check our tour page in early May.  We'll also make announcements in our Daily News section when we add locations. -- Alex

I hope you can tell me the exact Bulgari fragrance shower gel Ranger uses and Stephanie likes so well.

Bulgari Green Tea shower gel (sometimes also known as Au the Vert) is a unisex scent, and can be found at many local department stores' fragrance sections.  It's available at a bunch of places online (like Sephora.com), but you sometimes have to use its "Roman" spelling when searching -- "Bvlgari." -- Alex

How soon after the Stephanie Plum books are released are they available for download for the Kindle?

That's a hard one to call.  For Plum Spooky, the Kindle version was available the same day.  For Finger Lickin' Fifteen, it took about three weeks after publication of the print version.  We won't know more until it gets closer to June. -- Alex

Is Full Bloom and Full Scoop available on CD audio?

Yes, the whole series is available in audio on CD.  You should be able to get them from your local bookstore or any of the online bookstores. -- Alex

What's Hero at Large about?  Is it it's own book or part of a series?

Hero at Large, like all of Janet's pre-Plum romances, is a stand-alone title.   It was the very first book Janet had published.  It should start showing up in stores around March 30, 2010. -- Alex

We know Joe and Ranger were in the service, were their fathers also?

Don't know about Ranger's dad, but Frank Plum was in the Army. -- Alex

I'm having withdrawls.  I need another Stephanie Plum audio book.

The audio book for Plum Sixteen will come out on the same day of the book's hardcover publication -- tentatively scheduled for release on June 22, 2010. -- Alex

What series by Robert B. Parker is/are Janet's favorite?

Janet likes the Spenser series. -- Alex

Where did Steph get Rex? And why did she choose a hamster in the first place?

Stephanie got Rex at a pet store.  She got him because hamsters are pretty easy to take care of.  You don't have to walk them and they have small poop. -- Alex

Will the winner of the name book sixteen contest be notified before you announce it to everyone else?

Yes.  We will announce the winner on the website, and in the electronic edition of the Plum News, on December 1. -- Alex

When will the preview to the 16th book be out?

We'll post the first half of chapter one in March 2010.   We always try for the first of the month, but sometimes it's not possible due to editing. -- Alex

Just wondering what has happened to Valerie and Albert, they haven't been mentioned in any of the novels lately?

The Kloughns are doing just fine.  I'm sure we'll hear from them again. -- Alex

If Stephanie could track down any celebrity FTA, who would she want to chase down?

Seeing as Stephanie's apprehensions usually result in rolling around on the ground with her captive... Brad Pitt wouldn't be too bad. -- Alex

Is there a section for recipes?

We always have time-honored Plum recipes here.  Starting December 1, we will start our yearly readers' holiday recipes. -- Alex

Is Janet planning on bringing Diesel in to the numbered books?

No.  Diesel will be getting his own series starting in late summer 2010. -- Alex

What has been going on with Stormin' Sixteen? I keep trying to get my hands on information about it but the only thing I can find is a cover picture.

Last month, just for fun, we ran a contest for readers to come up with what they'd like to see as a cover for Book Sixteen.  The cover (and title) you were referring to was one of those -- not the real book cover.  We will show the real cover on the website December 1 as well as reveal the real title. -- Alex

Is Grandma Mazur as good a cook as Helen Plum? Or was she "in her day?"

It seems like the cooking gene skips a generation in the Mazur family.  While Helen is terrific, neither Grandma Mazur nor granddaughter Stephanie is much good in the kitchen except when it comes to making cookies at the holidays. -- Alex

Where can i buy this whole series? one for the money...etc?  I want to buy it for a present. or do they have to be purchased individually?    

Plums 1 through 12 can be purchased in paperback boxed sets of three (1-3, 4-6, etc.).  There are also hard cover omnibus volumes containing three books each (1-3, 4-6 and books 1-3 of the Between the Numbers series).  You can get them at any bookstore or online bookseller. -- Alex

What in between the numbers book is coming out in January? What holiday will it be about?

No BTN book this January.  Instead, Janet is starting a new Diesel series that will be out in August 2010. -- Alex

I'd like to know is Ranger an unmentionable like Diesel.

To the best of our knowledge, while Ranger is a man of mystery, he's not an unmentionable like Diesel.  Though, sometimes we wonder. -- Alex

If and when a movie is made, do you think you will have any say in who playes Ranger and Lula?

There's no thinking about it.  We know we won't have any say.  If we hear anything new on the movie or TV front, we'll post it right away on the website. -- Alex

Haven't been able to find Hero At Large in any used book store, ebay, libraries in Birmingham, and Huntsville AL -- are you going to bring it back?

Yes!  It will be re-released around March 30, 2010. -- Alex

Why is it that whenever Diesel is in town Ranger is either gone or suddenly has somewhere to go?
